Action Canada joins trans communities in recognizing Trans Day of Remembrance

We acknowledge and denounce the transphobic and misogynistic violence that impact trans, gender non-binary, gender non-conforming and two spirit people, particularly trans women and femmes of color. We mourn and we remember all of the trans people who have been lost in the world this year and in years passed due to acts of violent transphobia, or due to suicide. Today and every day, we celebrate the resilience, power and beauty of trans, gender non-binary, gender non-conforming and two spirit communities and the legacy of trans-led organizing and community building in the broader struggle for justice and liberation for all.
