Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights is excited to announce the launch of our new Sexual Health Hub.
The Hub is a unique bilingual, sex positive, and youth-friendly online source of sexual health information. Through the Hub, people across Canada can get the evidence-based, judgment-free sexual health information they need and deserve.
The Covid-19 pandemic has created some new barriers – and exacerbated many existing ones – that keep people from getting the judgment-free and scientifically accurate health information they need. The Hub is a comprehensive resource that provides information on every aspect sexual and reproductive health, including anatomy, contraception, STI testing, healthy relationships, and your rights in a healthcare setting.
And because health information is always evolving, we will be regularly updating The Hub with new information and resources from experts on sexual and reproductive health, service providers, and community members. The Hub also includes content for healthcare providers looking to offer the highest quality sexual health care possible.
Each year, more than 30,000 people use the Action Canada website to find information on sexual health and connect with the services they need in their community. With new resources like the Sexual Health Hub, more people from coast-to-coast-to-coast will be able to get answers to their sexual health questions and learn about their options for care.
