Providing reliable sexual health information is an important part of combatting misinformation and disinformation. Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights (@actioncanadashr) has unveiled a newly updated Sexual Health Information Hub that provides reliable, sex-positive, inclusive, pro-choice information about sexual health to support you in making informed decisions about your sexual health and help you to get the best care for you.

Abortion is often surrounded by mis- and disinformation. A recent survey tells us that 58% of Canadian women would first consult their family doctor about their abortion options and that 84% trust that their doctor will present all available options*. However, 80% of Medical Residents reported receiving less than an hour of training on the topic**, and there is always the possibility of discovering your doctor is not pro-choice upon inquiring about abortion.

Doing research can help you prepare for your doctor's appointment and advocate for the abortion care you need. Find reliable information on abortion and a guide to help you identify reliable, sex-positive, inclusive, and accurate information on @actioncanadashr’s new hub!
